Description
Tree of Life
These pendants have been hand carved in translucent porcelain and painted with gold by Belen Berganza.
The Tree of Life symbol closely relates to the Jewish Kabbalah and has also existed in Ancient Egypt, over three thousand years ago. The Tree of Life design can be found in nature and has a connection to the Flower of Life.
It represents a complex formula of existence, the flow of creation from the Divine to Earth and back to the Divine. A magical key to how life manifests itself. The Tree of Life is comprised of ten sephiroth, with twenty-two paths interconnecting them.
The left column is called the Pillar of Severity. It represents the female aspect of creation; the right column is called the Pillar of Mercy. It represents the male aspects of creation; the middle pillar is called the Pillar of Equilibrium. It represents the balance between the male and female pillars.
Sacred Geometry
Sacred Geometry is the basic fundamental building block of our Universe, based on mathematics and form. From the farthest reaches of the cosmos to the atomic structure of a single cell within the body, the same laws of form and mathematics apply. These displays of mathematical and geometric constants are confirmation that certain proportions are woven into the very fabric of nature. Recognising the significance of this simple fact offers us the means to understand how and why such matters were considered sacred. They and everything around us, are the product of the delicate balance between chaos and order.
