Description
Seventh circuit classic desktop labyrinth
This ancient seven-circuit labyrinth (so called because the path creates seven concentric rings around the center) is a symbol that relates to wholeness. It combines the imagery of the circle and the spiral into a meandering but purposeful path. The Labyrinth represents a journey to our own center and back again out into the world. Labyrinths have long been used as meditation tools. A labyrinth is an archetype with which we can have a direct experience. We can walk it. It is a metaphor for life’s journey.
Sacred Geometry
Sacred Geometry is the basic fundamental building block of our Universe, based on mathematics and form. From the farthest reaches of the cosmos to the atomic structure of a single cell within the body, the same laws of form and mathematics apply. These displays of mathematical and geometric constants are confirmation that certain proportions are woven into the very fabric of nature. Recognising the significance of this simple fact offers us the means to understand how and why such matters were considered sacred. They and everything around us, are the product of the delicate balance between chaos and order.
These porcelain desktop labyrinths are 10cm diameter and they have been hand carved by Belen Berganza
